I refer to my earlier post on Wii. http://www.donnysoh.com/blog/item/6/ Last Christmas has seen a frenzy in the sales of the Wii. It was labeled as the “Gift to be sought after” In the first eight days of their launch in North America, they have already sold more than 600,000 of its new Wii consoles.

The Wii also met success in Europe and UK, with it being the fastest selling console ever. During the first two days some 325,000 consoles were quickly snapped up, with most stores sold out within hours of the launch.

The playability of the Wii remains an issue though. Some blogs have reported of the remote flying out of hands and crashing into TV screens. Nintendo’s response? Stay at least three feet away from the TV and neighboring objects. Avoid excessive motion and dry your hands if they sweat. haha.
