Am not really a gamer, but..

Interesting and very brave move of Nintendo: the Wii: http://wii.nintendo.com

A totally innovative set of controls. Your movements are captured by the motion sensors of the device, sent back to the console via bluetooth to control the character in your game. So in a tennis game, you literally swing your arm to hit the ball.

If the Wii really picks off, it won’t be hard to imagine all the rest of the competition like Sony, Playstation or X-Box scambling to get their asses into the game as well. Whatever, it would be interesting to see how events unfold.

I believe for people of my generation, I still would prefer playing games via the conventional way of sitting down and pushing of buttons. well.. thats the purpose of playing games right? that is to make myself as comfortable as possible. if i would want to swing my arm like that, I might as well physically go out to play a real game of tennis.

That’s for me. I guess the younger generation might have a different view to it though. And that generation would determine the success or failure of the Wii Console.
